Creator Studio Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Creator Studio is a privately operated application used to connect authorized social media accounts with a self-hosted social media management system.

This Privacy Policy explains how Creator Studio may access, use, store and otherwise process information when connecting to supported third-party services, including Meta services such as Facebook and Instagram and Google services such as YouTube.

1. Information We May Process

The information Creator Studio can access depends on the connected service and the permissions explicitly granted by the authorized user.

This information may include:

2. How Information Is Used

Information obtained through connected services is used only to provide the functions of Creator Studio, including:

Creator Studio does not use connected account data for unrelated advertising, data brokerage or the creation of advertising profiles.

3. Meta Services: Facebook and Instagram

When an authorized user connects Facebook or Instagram, Creator Studio may process information made available through Meta APIs according to the permissions granted by that user.

This may include:

Meta processes information independently according to its own terms, policies and privacy practices.

4. Google and YouTube API Services

When an authorized user connects a Google or YouTube account, Creator Studio may access Google user data through Google API Services according to the permissions granted during OAuth authorization.

Depending on the permissions granted, this may include:

Google API Services User Data

Creator Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing functionality associated with the authorized Creator Studio integration.

Google user data is not sold.

Google user data is not used for advertising profiling or for training generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

5. OAuth Tokens and Authentication

Creator Studio may store OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens and related authentication metadata when necessary to maintain authorized connections with supported platforms.

These credentials are used only for operating the integrations authorized by the user and are not intentionally exposed publicly.

6. Data Sharing

Personal information obtained through connected APIs is not sold.

Information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting or technical service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate Creator Studio and its self-hosted environment.

Data may also be exchanged with the connected platform when necessary to perform actions explicitly requested through the integration, such as publishing content or retrieving analytics.

7. Data Storage and Security

Integration-related information may be stored within the self-hosted infrastructure used to operate Creator Studio.

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to restrict access to authorized users and protect stored information from unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse.

8. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality, maintain active integrations, satisfy applicable legal obligations or protect the security and integrity of the system.

OAuth tokens and integration metadata may be removed when an integration is disconnected or when deletion is requested, subject to technical and legal requirements.

9. Revoking Access

Users can revoke Creator Studio's access using the account or security settings provided by the connected third-party service.

Revoking authorization prevents Creator Studio from obtaining new data through the revoked authorization.

10. Data Deletion

Instructions for requesting deletion of data associated with Creator Studio are available at:

11. Your Rights

Where applicable under data protection law, including the GDPR, users may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of their personal information.
